Welcome to theduggernaut.com homepage

The duggernaut is an alias borne out of my time at Glasgow University Rugby Club and whilst most know me by more conventional variations of my real name, the duggernaut has managed to shadow me around the world for the past 9 years.

This site is an opportunity for me to let you see into my world. Stories of experiences and adventures as well as insights into my thoughts and feelings.

Check out the video of my trip to the Northwest Territories in Summer 06. Amateur expedition, amateur production but i'd say worth a gander anyway.

2010 was very much a year about a house. After 6 months of graft we moved in during September, although I fear true completion is an unachievable utopia. Whilst I continue at the helm of one of Red Sail's Catamarans, I also have the added challenge of ensuring the entire fleet operates flawlessly. I will also continue to teach PE part-time which I find to be a wonderfully enjoyable distraction. My first IRB International Cap for the Cayman Islands was a highlight of 2010, I hope to add to it over 2011. Some climbing and paddling are a much needed prerequisite for 2011. Otherwise, a great deal of my existence is spent in pursuit of a certain baby around the island.

The summer of 2009 saw me head north and I have made short movies to document my time at firstly The Ottawa River:

and then subsequently at The Red River Gorge:
